Trunk or Treat

Tonight we all got dressed up and went to a Party. A Halloween Party! Lilly was such a good sport about playing dress up, and seemed genuinely excited to be a fairy princess, a.k.a. Tinkerbell. Surprisingly, she never even tried to take off her headband or wings. Drew and I attempted to be her sidekicks (Wendy and Peter Pan), but I'm pretty sure we paled in comparison.

Lilly was a little weirded out by some of the costumes and decorations, but she overcame her fear because there was CANDY involved. Drew manned our trunk game, and I took Lilly around to play games and collect treats. She wouldn't make eye contact and refused to say trick-or-treat, but she was really good at playing the games, grabbing her candy, saying "thank you," and booking it to the next car. Straight to business.
Of course, once we got home, she had no problem saying "trick-o-treat" over and over and over and over . . .

Not sure why Peter is so angry at Katniss here, but someone should warn him about who he's dealing with . . .
