Lilly is officially one month away from being a two year old! She has her dad wrapped around her finger, and I guess I can't blame him. She is fiercely independent and stubborn, but then she's also so small and sweet. We love her!
Some of our favorite things about Lilly right now:

Some of our favorite things about Lilly right now:
- She says "hi" to everyone we pass on the street or at the store.
- She says "Please" and "Thank You" without being asked.
- She's learning to sing songs, especially "Twinkle, twinkle little star," which she sometimes combines with "ABC's" and ends by singing, "next time sing with me!"
- She's started taking her turn saying family prayer at night.
- She's potty trained!!! (I also love finding little panties all over the house because she has gotten them all out trying to decide which one to wear.)
- She insists on sleeping in "Grammy's bed" (in the guest room) 90% of the time.
- She copies everything we say, sometimes with hilarious results.
- She's asked to wear her "shoe shirt" about 15 of the last 30 days.
- That she loves walking to the park so she can "find puppies."
- How she jumps around the house and says, "I jump like bunny rabbit!"
- That she knows the difference between women and men, but she calls them all "a mommy" or "a daddy."
- Her obsession with chocolate chips.
- Her growing entourage of sleep buddies, now including "baby doll," "other baby doll," "bunny," "bunny rabbit," and occasionally "kangaroo." (No wonder she wants to sleep in the big bed.)
- Also, her growing bedtime song requests which now usually include (her names for them): "Stars," "Baby Rock"(Rockabye Baby), "Hush, mama" (Hush Little Baby), "ABCD's," and "Lilly Song"(made up by Drew to edelweiss tune), all sung by mom and then re-sung by dad.
- The way she puts her dolls to bed (at all hours of the day), and sings to them.
- The way she laughs and says, "I do funny," when she is being silly.
- The way she follows me up the stairs and says "I'm chasing you!"
- Her frequent use of the word "my" as in "my do it," "my open it," "my flush it," etc. Also, when she concedes and says, "Help me mama."
- Her excited "I did it!" accompanied with a huge smile.
- All the other silly things she does and says that I can never remember when I do these posts!
She's such a cutie! I love your monthly posts of her milestones, you do such a great job with them!
