Turns out Lilly isn't so much of a tomboy after all.
She was thrilled to wear her new princess pajamas. . .
She even declined the pajama pants, and insisted on only wearing the "princess skirt."
In the morning, she REFUSED to take off her princess pajamas and get dressed to go out shopping. That is, until she found this nautical outfit. . .

Does anyone else get super excited when your child (or husband, for that matter) actually chooses something cute to wear?!
When we got to the mall, she threw on her white sunglasses and checked herself out in all the mirrors. She also had a blast trying on jewelry and shoes at Forever 21, to the amusement of all the workers.
So I guess I shouldn't have been surprised when the girl at the register labeled her a "girly girl." I can't remember what stumbled response I gave, in fact, I'm still processing that label.
What I do know, is that my chubby little baby has fully transitioned into a beautiful little girl.
And whatever type of little girl she wants to be, I'm gonna love it.
