Mrs. Claus visited story time at the library last week! Lilly didn't want to have anything to do with her lap.
But Lilly was really happy when the librarian let her hold one of the ornaments after story time. She'd been dying to pull one off the tree!
We had a fun Christmas party at the church. Dinner was great, and we decided to take the obligatory Santa picture despite Lilly's lack of cooperation. I mean she really doesn't like facial hair, and Santa's is a little out of control. Maybe Mrs. Claus should talk to him about that.
We decided to forego a big tree this year, but we kept with tradition and lit up our mini tree and bonsai.
Sunday morning we let Lilly open some pre-Christmas gifts from my family since we won't be dragging presents to Michigan with us.
She's getting to be an expert present opener!
She really liked the little dogs on her new outfit!
And she loves rocking her baby doll in her new cradle and playing with her new legos!
Hurray for Christmas time and family! We miss those we won't see this year, and are so excited to visit our Michigan family tomorrow!
