In Sickness and In Health

This week, the three of us took turns being sick. We’re blaming Drew, because he got hit first. Lilly was a trooper. She had a runny nose and took long naps, but otherwise seemed unaffected. Being an adult, I was much more annoyed by the constant need for Kleenex and complete lack of energy. Happily, Saturday found us all on the mend and everything seemed to be looking up because. . .

#1        I made Lilly a sparkly white tutu for her Halloween ghost costume. 

The rest of the costume is still in production.

#2           Drew finally found a motorcycle to buy! He got a super good deal on a 1983 Kawasaki. I’m calling it his “rebound” because we all know he’s really not over losing Maro, his ’89 camaro. He's loving riding it, and I'm loving that I will no longer have to drive him to and from the park and ride.

#3           Grandma Berbert arrived! I’m not sure how much Lilly remembers her, but she must remember enough, because she greeted grandma with lots of kisses and hugs!
