I have not been good at taking pictures. We have been out and about a lot, plus all the pictures turn out blurry since the subject will not stay still. Lilly is constantly on the move, and she will squirm, wriggle or drop toys to get out of my arms. Sometimes I wish she was clingy. Like at church today when she ran away from me with my cell phone and a bottle of bubbles, walked to the center-front of Relief Society, dropped her bubbles, stole someone's shoe, then proceeded to the far back corner of the room and fell down. I had to retrieve her, return the shoe, and get the bubbles before I could get out of there. I guess I'm "that" mom now.
On an entirely unrelated note, Lilly has figured out how to get down from our bed. She gets on her tummy and slides one leg off, then the next, while clinging to the bedding, until her feet hit the floor. She looks so proud of herself when she does it.
Anyway, here are a few pictures of the not-so-exciting moments:
Lilly enjoys playing this game where I throw something upstairs and she drops it back down through the railing. Sometimes she finds her own things to throw down, like Drew's belt, our dental floss, or basically whatever she can find. If anything goes missing, it's probably behind the t.v. below this railing.
Sometimes she sits down long enough to play with her keyboard or laptop.
She also loves to sit in her room and flip through all her books.
But she still prefers to play on the stairs. . .
She must know it gets my heart racing.
On Saturday we went downtown and checked out Austin's bookstore called "Book People" while Drew played basketball on campus.
Lilly got bored with story time, but enjoyed making a new friend!
