For 3 years, Drew has been trying in vain to convince me to cut his hair. I kept telling him he was crazy. I have no idea how to cut hair! Well, yesterday he finally got what he wanted. He asked, and I was feeling daring. So, with nothing but a bad pair of scissors and a comb I went at it. . .

Not too bad for a first attempt, right? I think we may invest in clippers for my future attempts.

Great job! I'm glad Eric never asks me to cute his hair...probably would end up having to shave it-- but you did awesome. Drew's hair looks better than ever before!
ReplyDeleteIt took Jeff nearly 10 years to convince me! I just cut his hair for the first time last week. In fact I did 4 haircuts in one day - Jeff, Rome, Capri & Sable. It was crazy! But it went surprisingly well, in fact I have to say I did a much better job than Great Clips ever did! I used only scissors too, even though we have clippers. I like the scissors better.

Rebekah- You would do a great job! You are way more skilled artistically than I and I'm sure it would transfer over.
ReplyDeleteAby- Way to go! I really like using the scissors, too, but Drew thinks I can do it faster with clippers. We'll see. Scissors are way more fun AND you have more control!
Nice work Allyson! The clippers definitely help, I would do Chris' whole head with them if he would let me since he likes it so short anyway! But he insists that I do a better job on top with scissors...
