May-July 2018

In May we planned a family outing to Hershey Park. The kids thought it was amazing, and had so much fun on all the rides. Lilly even tried out a pretty scary indoor roller coaster, and then talked about it the whole drive home. :)

In May I had the opportunity to be involved with advocacy day in DC for Resolve, the national infertility association. We spent the day speaking with members of congress, and it was a really great experience.

The kids love playing with all their friends in the neighborhood here. Red poison is a favorite game, and is basically a version of tag. That's what they are starting to play in this picture, but also I just really like this picture.

The end of May means warmer weather, the pool opening, and more time outside.

Also the end of school! Henry and I got to help at Lilly's Field Day this year.

 Bring on summer!

Lilly kept on losing teeth.

She also kept on baking.

And crafting.

And doing gymnastics.

Also, found a new love: Sky Zone.

We had lots of nice quiet moments, too.

 4th of July Neighborhood Party

 And Preschool fun for Henry

We headed to Utah after the 4th, but I'll save those pics for their own post.

To finish off July, we visited Glen Echo Park and rode the old carousel. It was lovely.
