Grammy came to visit in August, and Lilly put her right to work playing pretend and reading stories. We also enjoyed some time at the pool, a trip to Ikea and a visit to the Nature and Science Center at Zilker Park. My favorite part of the trip was canoeing through Lake Austin surrounded by lots of turtles, fish and ducks. It was a perfect morning, cool and overcast, and we were on the water by ourselves for much of the time. It was so beautiful and peaceful! Plus we were lucky enough to be serenaded by Lilly singing Row, Row, Row Your Boat and 5 little speckled frogs while we paddled.
Lilly also got to spend some time with Grammy and her cousins in San Antonio one evening while Drew and I went to the temple. We were really glad to have a chance to visit the temple one more time before the baby comes, and Lilly was really happy to see Grammy one more time and catch up with her little cousins.
How fun! Ally, I absolutely LOVE the photo of you with Lilly on your lap! What a special moment captured. And you've updated the blog title...wohoo! Can't wait for baby boy!
