During Lilly's nap I made her cake and brought her presents out of hiding! Lilly got lots of fun gifts, cards and phone calls thanks to all of her loving family. She's a lucky girl, and we're grateful for all of you!
We wish everyone could have shared the day with us!
She loved the balloons from Uncle Jacob!
When we got back from feeding the ducks, we let her open her first present!
A shape sorter!
Then we had her favorite slow cooker chicken, carrots and potatoes with rice!
While we cleaned up the mess, Lilly played with her new toy some more!
Then it was time to get down to business.
This book was a special gift from Drew. He likes Shel Silverstein a lot.
Kisses!
We were happily surprised by how much she enjoyed drawing on this magnetic board . . . when she could get the pen and stamps away from Drew.
Love this little classic "Pat the Bunny" book from Tutu in Hawaii! My favorite is the "now you feel daddy's scratchy beard" page.
Perfecting her present opening skills. . .
She loves flipping through her books!
Checking out her new percussion set . . .
Taking care of her baby. Gotta get that hat on so her head doesn't get cold.
And we can't forget her unwrappable gifts. . .
This one's still on it's way . . .
This little girl is set!
....................
Then it was time for CAKE!
We have a video that I'll post later. She used one or two fingers to eat little bites of frosting and then started using the candle as a fork. The candle-fork mashed the cake, but she stayed surprisingly clean.
Check out her clean face and bib. . .
Some tickle time with Daddy before bath and bed!
She's loving it! (I swear!)
It was a great day. We love you Lilly!

Happy Birthday Lily! We're so glad you had such a fun day (except for the shots!). You got some great presents, have fun!
