We had such a fun weekend with Drew's family! His parents and brother flew in from Michigan for our nephew Dylan's first birthday, and we drove down to San Antonio to join in the festivities. Friday night we enjoyed a very large pizza at a place called Maars, and then relaxed in the hotel pool and hot tub. On Saturday we celebrated Dylan's birthday with a barbecue, green cupcakes and the Michigan/Michigan State game. (Go State!) Lilly was very happy to be there, as long as their two little dogs didn't run anywhere near her. She was so scared of them! We drove home during Lilly's afternoon nap, and kept entertained on the drive by helping Jacob finish his science and social studies homework. Jacob stayed with us Saturday night, and the parents joined us on Sunday. We played at the park, ate blue bell ice cream, and lost all our money to Drew in a game of monopoly. Lilly loved seeing her grandparents and was completely enamored with Jacob. We can't wait to see them again!
