Lilly was so cute at church this week! And I'm not just talking about her dress. During Sunday School, she was standing on my lap looking around and she took a particular interest in a young couple sitting against the wall to our left. She started staring at them rather intensely and wouldn't look anywhere else. Then they started smiling at her and that got her really excited. She started smiling back! This interaction continued for a couple minutes and then she got even more excited about her new friends and started talking to them in earnest. Luckily the Sunday school teacher had a mic and a loud voice. . . and we were surrounded by old ladies that were just excited to see a baby and didn't mind the distraction.
Shortly after that, Lilly fell asleep. Being cute can be rather exhausting I suppose.
