3 months!

Lilly is 3 months old today! And she is so much fun right now. She is starting to stay awake for longer periods of time (i.e. 2 hours instead of 1.5 hours). She is moving more and really wants to be able to go places (soon!). She is about 15 lbs and just started wearing some of her 6-9 month clothes. She has the biggest rosiest cheeks and a big round belly to match. Sometimes she babbles on and on like she's really talking to you, and she get's really excited about it. Sometimes she laughs, and it is the cutest thing ever! And we are so glad that she is adjusting well to mom's return to work. . .

She gets to play with her Daddy, Grandma and Grandpa Berbert and Uncle Marc while I play ER nurse! Surprisingly, I am loving being back at work (I got someone arrested on my second day back!). And since it's just 1-2 days a week I don't feel like I miss too much at home, but it gives me an outlet to stimulate my brain and get some adult interaction. And it makes me appreciate the days I do spend with Lilly even more! Plus I love my job (most days). On my first two shifts back, Lilly patiently waited for a couple hours until she understood that she wasn't getting another choice, and then she took the bottle for the rest of the day. Yesterday she took it on the first try! I guess she's not quite as stubborn as I thought.
