Lilly's Blessing Weekend

We really enjoyed this past weekend! Drew's parents were in town for Lilly's blessing, and we got to see lots of other family members, too. Plus we got to watch the Super Bowl, 'Glee' returned, we ate lots of good food, Lilly started sleeping an hour longer in the mornings and Drew got accepted to the University of Texas in Austin!

Lilly's daddy gave her a beautiful blessing. We were happy to have lots of family members with us to share in the moment.

After church we gathered at my parents for lots of great food with lots of great family.

Lilly got lots more attention than she is used to.

She loves her beautiful quilt and the adorable handmade lamb that she got from her great-aunts.

And she was kind enough to pose for a couple more pictures for her parents.

Lilly was blessed on the day of the Super Bowl which is sort of neat because I was born during the Super Bowl 25 years ago.
