The passage of time has been a strange thing to measure during these days of quarantine. It seems the surest indicators for me have been the changes of nature: the blooming of flowers, the return of leaves, the birth of fawns.
Meanwhile, the humans in our household were working on adapting to working and schooling from home, and passing the time with baking, games, movies, and walks. We watched the weather shift from cold to hot, and observed the comings and goings of the many birds, squirrels, snakes, foxes and deer that share our yard and neighborhood.
So here's a visual summary of our first couple months of staying at home.
They were filled with their own unique challenges, but they were also uniquely beautiful . . .
