October 2018: The one with the wedding

Octobers are wonderful. Cooler weather, colorful leaves, and candles that smell like pumpkin and warm spices. Followed by Halloween creepiness, costumes and candy.

This year we also squeezed in a trip to Michigan in the middle of the month for Drew's sister Sarah's wedding. The kids loved seeing so many cousins, and exploring the beautiful town of Frankenmuth.

To add to what was already a great month, the kids played lots of baseball, and Lilly decided to take the plunge and get her ears pierced.

But to kick it all off, our annual trip to the Pumpkin festival at Butler's Orchard . . .

A day at the park, after successfully catching some Pokemon with Dad.

Eating miso soup and edamame at our favorite sushi place.

On the road to Michigan . . .

We taught the kids how to play bocce ball and they loved it.
