Every time I see these little shoes lying around the house I suddenly feel inordinately happy. It may be because they are so very tiny, or because Lilly chose them, or possibly because they belong to my favorite little boy in the whole world, I'm not entirely sure. But what I really don't understand, is how Henry has already arrived at a point where shoes are a necessity! With Lilly, I was so excited for each new milestone, but this time around, I just want to scream, "Slow it down, buddy!"
But alas, here we are, already at 7 months, and my cuddly newborn is diving out of my arms and taking off to explore. In the past month he's become a proficient crawler and cruises around the furniture like a pro. Despite being ultra busy all the time, he also manages to seem incredibly calm. And he's still as happy and sweet as ever. I really can't get enough of this kid.
Some of Henry's favs right now include:
smashed avocado
clapping his fists together
NOT being read to
anything musical
long afternoon naps
being bounced, cuddled, tickled, wrestled . . .
playing airplane
peek-a-boo with sister
ringing Lilly's pretend doorbell
ringing the xbox "doorbell" (i.e. power button)
eating peoples' feet
