Happy St. Patty's day! Drew had to be at school until late tonight, so we ate our corned beef and Irish soda bread on Sunday. Even little Henry enjoyed some pureed carrot and potato! After dinner I filled Lilly in about getting pinched if you don't wear green, so during dessert she made sure to tell Drew in case he didn't know. (He was very grateful for the advice, and for her help finding something green to set out so he wouldn't forget.)
In the morning, Lilly went through a slew of green accessories for herself and her dolls, before settling on wearing a green dress. I wore green earrings and a green shirt, with my yoga pants, of course. And then I forgot to find something green for Henry to wear, but, let's be honest, with those cheeks he was probably going to get himself pinched no matter what he wore. Once we were properly dressed, we spent the day making rainbow art, baking shamrock cookies, and hunting the neighborhood for 4-leaf clovers. We only found the 3-leaf variety this time, but I know we're going to get lucky one of these years!
I love reading your posts! Your kids are so cute and it looks like your St. Patrick's Day celebrations were so fun! I love Lily's rainbow-- Jack and I did that same thing when he was about her age! :)
