Where did June go?! Seriously, time is flying by.
I suppose, for Lilly and me, it was swallowed up in swimming lessons, work out group, walking group, playing at splash parks, story times, and lots and lots of princess dress-ups. Lilly is so much fun these days, and never seems to stop talking. She loves to play pretend and has been obsessed with Cinderella, so she spends a lot of time wearing her blue dress and Cinderella slippers. As far as the pretending goes, I usually get deemed "the godmother" and get to wave a magic wand around, if Drew happens to be home he's almost always "the stepmother." (Can you tell which one of us is her favorite?)
Today I had my 28 week OB appointment, and baby boy and I are doing great. I can't believe how quickly this pregnancy is going, and it seems like it will be over sooner than I will be ready!
Drew sold his motorcycle earlier this month and bought a road bike. He's been biking the 6 miles to and from the park and ride for the last couple weeks, and he's developing the leg muscles (and farmer's tan) to prove it.
Photo time!!!
Playing Cinderella and giving me one of her signature silly smiles:
Our little tricyclist:
She loves riding her bike to the park, or just speeding around in circles in the garage while I'm cooking dinner.

I don't know:
Last month we got this book from the library and she became obsessed with it. She loves to open it up and try to copy the positions and stretches. "Look mom! I'm a ballerina!" After 2 or 3 renewals we had to give it back, and she was very sad and kept talking about how we had to let someone else have it and then we could have it again. She was so sweet about it that I found her a used copy online, and, needless to say, she was super excited when she opened her package and pulled this out:
"Now I don't have to share it!"
Her most recent obsession:
We scored this super fun doorway playhouse from someone in our playgroup who was giving it away, and it is Lilly's new favorite thing! She has been having a lot of pretend guests over to her "house," and we've done too many Snow White/poisoned apple/Prince Charming reenactments to count.
Last but not least, I spent the afternoon cleaning up Lilly's closet and we used the newly freed up floor space to set up a home for my old Samantha doll.
I wasn't planning on giving it to her until she was a little older, but she's usually very careful with things so we're calling this a trial period. What can I say, this face makes me weak:
