Berbert Family Reunion

Lilly and I just returned from a super fun, relaxing, and all around awesome THREE week trip to Utah, so I have lots and lots of blogging to do. But let's start with the main purpose of our trip, which was to attend the Berbert Family Reunion
We had a wonderful 3 night stay at a beautiful and spacious cabin in Altamont, Utah.
And by beautiful, I mean GORGEOUS. There is nothing like being surrounded by endless land and sky, and of course family. We also got quite a bit of rain which made for a nice break from the heat of summer, and also led to Lilly singing "Rain, Rain Go Away" on repeat.
We played and hiked and swam. We competed in the family ping pong tournament, and watched my Dad blow everyone away on the climbing wall. (Seriously, he's got crazy natural climbing abilities!) We kept up old traditions (Midnight Donuts!) and started new ones (Bob Ross Paint-off!). We ate too much and we slept too little. And we made lots of new memories to laugh about at the next reunion.

I'm not sure she realized it was alive until after she touched it.

Someone loves to sing.

Drew enjoying the campfire, Lilly wondering if there might be such a thing as "too much fun."
She spent the rest of the campfire eating her s'more while sitting on Great Aunt Betty Jean's lap.
These are technically after the reunion, but Lilly loved playing with some of her girl cousins at my parent's house. She thought she could be one of the big girls.

And she couldn't get enough of cute baby Ingrid!
