Our New Fence

On Monday we got hit by a crazy wind storm, the kind where you shouldn't go outside if you want to live. So, logically, Lilly and I spent the morning at the park for playgroup, because we're super hardcore like that, and we don't check the weather report. Really though, it didn't get unbearably bad until the afternoon. There were stories from friends and neighbors of lost shingles and flying trampolines, and then there was our fence. We lost most of the back, and one section of the side, which basically meant we had dogs from two different neighbors exploring our yard that evening. Lilly was equal parts thrilled and terrified by these new visitors. I was neither.
Drew got home late and assessed the damage, and then he spent the next day building a new fence. By himself. I never understand how he just figures these things out, but I'm glad he does!

This side section belongs to the neighbor, so we just propped it up to keep the dogs out.
Here's to hoping he fixes it in the next 5 years.
And that he's still alive for that matter, we haven't seen him for awhile. . .

Ta Da! Bet you can't tell which part is new. . .
