Lilly-isms

Lilly has had so much energy and personality lately. Most of it is physical humor that you have to actually witness in person, but sometimes she just says really silly things. So here are a few of her recent verbal blunders and silly sayings:

"My face is zipping up!" 

-Talking about the healing cuts on her face from a fall at the park.

"Look mom, it's a little wipe, cause I'm little, cause I'm Lilly."

-Sitting on toilet, holding one single square of toilet paper, while giving me her serious look.

"I want some Christmas Peas!" Sure Lilly, but those are rice krispies. "Oh, Rice Chrismies!" Also, "They're talking to me!" 

She's been eating A LOT of rice krispie cereal with milk lately.

Sung emphatically: "This is my Sleeping Beautyyyyy!"

-Singing "I Love to See the Temple" for family night after she learned it in nursery. 

The real lyric is "This is my Sacred Duty." (But good luck trying to convince her!)

"I need candy, make me feel better." and "I need happy juice."

-When I realized I was raising an emotional eater. Whoops.

And since I can't do a Lilly post without pictures, here she is practicing her monkey skills. She recently discovered that she could hold puzzle pieces with her toes, and she thinks it's awesome.
