Walking

The first time Drew came to Austin to visit the University of Texas Lilly rolled over for the first time, so it was only fitting that she would start walking the day after he left to Austin with the Uhaul. On Tuesday, I filmed some of her first attempts at walking on her own. She's getting better and better every day. It's really amazing to watch. Not to mention hilarious-she looks like she got into the rubbing alcohol or vanilla extract (that's the only etoh we own, and I've had people admit to drinking both those things in the ER, but I digress. . .).

Lilly has also been very happy lately to play independently. She seems to be getting more and more creative with  her toys. She likes to put things in buckets and she loves to talk to toys and stuffed animals. I wish I knew what she was saying!
