September brought the beginnings of Fall weather, a little cooler, but still perfect for playing outdoors. Henry spent most of his outdoor time kicking his soccer ball around or learning to skateboard. Lily had a very fun sleepover with her new best friend; she made macarons ahead of time and then they assembled their own personal pizzas for dinner.
I made lots of pottery, went waterfall chasing, got to spend a morning with my cousin, Justin, and started going on weekly lunch dates with Drew. And to finish off the month, Drew's mom flew in just in time to celebrate Henry's 8th birthday! Henry loves the show Nailed It, and is really into the idea of cake decorating. He wanted to help decorate a soccer ball cake for his birthday, and I think we, "Nailed it!" :)
