September: The one with the spaceships

Believe it or not, Henry turned THREE last month! For his birthday, we decided to skip school/work and head off on a family adventure to the Space Center in Houston. If we're honest, this was for his parents as much as for him, but we all had a great time, and got to see some really cool stuff. We touched a moon rock, saw historic mission control, toured the Independence space shuttle and walked around the massive Saturn V rocket, among other things.

 






After properly wearing this newly-3-year-old out, we headed toward home. He woke up just in time for a stop in Brenham, TX the home of Blue Bell ice cream. 

After ice cream, we grabbed some dinner (priorities!) and then headed home for cupcakes. It was a pretty perfect day.
