Bye bye July!
It's been grand.
To kick it all off, we celebrated America.
Fireworks, friends and fun were had.
Lilly refused to wear patriotic colors, but she did hold a sparkler for a few seconds,
so I think she loves her country.
We also celebrated a few gloriously and unseasonably cool days.
We filled the rest of our unscheduled summer days with lots of swimming, reading, ripe melon eating, and visits to the children's museum.
And we finished out the month with a visit from Aunt Amanda!
We went swimming, ate tacos, and had lots of other fun that went completely undocumented, but was thoroughly enjoyed.
So I'd have to say, it's been a pretty great summer so far,
but it's all about to be trumped by AUGUST when we're headed to . . .
Hawaii!!!
We're counting down the days, and putting off packing.
Lilly can hardly contain her excitement! Henry's just playing it cool.
Honolulu, here we come!

Love these kids! We sure wish we could have regular cousin play dates! Can't wait to see pics from HA!
