These Two

I feel so blessed to be the mom of these two precious little souls. They each challenge me in different ways, but they also make my life incredibly happy and full. I love Lilly's balance between serious and silly. She's a little mini-mom, helping with Henry, cooking with me in the kitchen, trying to be as responsible as a 3 year old can be. She likes to sing and talk to herself a lot; she even does it in her sleep (as we discovered while sharing a room during Christmas vacation). Henry is just the sweetest. He loves to be held, and his smiles make me want to just eat him up. He's calm and steady, and he doesn't like loud noises or fast movements. I love seeing his little personality developing.
Here's a little picture update on both of them from the past couple months. . .

LILLY
About a month ago I found this in the bathroom. . .

Apparently baby "Tangled" kept getting hair in her face,
and Lilly was kind enough to help her trim it.

Lilly LOVES to play Mario. She and Drew often play a level when he gets home at night. She's always the princess. Here's a screen shot of our Mario World Family, Drew (double Luigi) is carrying both of us through a level.  Apparently, Lilly and I need a lot of help.

Lilly loves preschool, and I think it's really helping her grow out of her shyness.
She's also learning to read, and it's super exciting to see her succeeding!
Lilly's signature style of drawing faces:
She also likes to pretend she can write stuff:

FIRST DAY OF SUNBEAMS!!!
I am totally freaking out a little about how old she's getting.
And I just got my first ever smart phone, so Lilly wasted no time learning how to take selfies.
I LOVE THIS GIRL!

HENRY
I didn't think little boys could be as cute as girls, until I met this one.
(Now I think they might be cuter!)
I love all 16 lbs of this laughing, drooling, bubble blowing, hair grabbing 3 month old.
And it's a good thing I do, because otherwise I might be mad about all the sleep he's making me lose.
Which, if you missed the implication, is a lot.
Like, he may be dropped off on the porch of one of his grandparents soon,  A LOT.
Yeah, I know, looks can be deceiving.
