We had so much fun celebrating and teaching Lilly about Easter this year!
We had some family fun dyeing Easter eggs on Saturday, and we set up a little egg hunt in the backyard on Sunday. To finish out the weekend, we joined some other family-less friends for a delicious Easter dinner. Lilly spent the evening singing and playing the piano by herself, while the rest of us stuffed ourselves with ham and deviled eggs.
(Lilly was excited to see her new crown, she said, "I got new crown because mommy broke other one!" i.e. She tripped over my leg and fell on it. Also, she always wears them upside down.)

Lilly's Easter dress is adorable! And I love her little smirk in the first photo. I can also imagine that wearing her crown upside down keeps in on better. So practical and clever!
