Work and Play

Lilly has been lots of help around the house lately. It's about time she started earning her keep! But seriously, she is seeming more and more grown-up, and has been getting much better at communicating with us. She still uses mostly signs and gestures, some pointing and a few words, but she has also gotten really good at growling (Drew insisted I mention this). The good news is that this equals no tantrums and much less whining. Thank goodness. Anyway, here's a little peek at what we've been doing around the house lately. . .

Okay, so really it seems more like all play and no work for both of us around here lately.

In the morning while I'm still comatose, she likes to sit on my bed and turn on the radio. Sometimes she sways along to the music. This isn't the best example of that, but you get the idea. . . (about 30 seconds in)
