In June, we were visited by both my sister's family and my parents! It was so fun to see them all, and to show them around our little town. We took advantage of the perfect transitional spring to summer weather by spending lots of time outside, hiking to our local waterfalls, rivers and lakes. And we got to meet little Hannah for the first time, and were all absolutely in love with her big smiles. Meanwhile Lily and Emmaline were thick as thieves, as always.
We kept busy with end of school activities, wrapping up 6th grade for Lily and 3rd grade for Henry. I joined Henry's class on a field trip to Round lake, and got to see Lily perform in her final choir concert, as well as her school talent show, where she was also awarded a lion's pride award for exemplary behavior and leadership.
We also leaned into the downtown Camas small town charm this month, by joining in 1st Friday activities and perusing the classic car show. And of course, the Camas experience wouldn't be complete without a breakfast at Natalia's, our local Luke's diner, if you will.
