In May, came some much needed sunshine and warmer temps, as well as the flowers promised by all the April showers. I absolutely love wisteria, and had been eagerly anticipating the spring bloom of cascading purple flowers, ever since I found out we had a wisteria plant in our new yard. It did not disappoint.
I got outside whenever possible, and especially loved taking walks around Green Lake on sunny days when I didn't have to work.
Drew and I celebrated 15(!) years of marriage, and the kids spoiled me for Mother's day, so there were many flowers inside the house as well.
We watched a lot of NBA finals basketball.
And we took advantage of the awesome free museum passes that the Seattle library offers to visit the Seattle Aquarium. We rode the light rail down, and stopped by Pike Place afterward for lunch before heading back home.
With the warming weather, we were finally motivated to set up our trampoline again, and the kids were thrilled. I think they enjoyed it even more than they remembered!
