April!

April was pretty rockin'.
Which, as it turns out, was Lilly's worst fear for about 60% of this canoe ride. The rocking, not the month. Then she realized she was probably going to survive, and subsequently enjoyed the heck out of it. Which, as it turns out, is how we felt about April. The enjoyment part, not the fear. Shoot, where am I going with this?! Oh well, just be prepared, because this post contains an excessive amount of pictures of an equally excessive number of happenings.

I coulda/shoulda/woulda split it up, but I was too lazy. Or let's spin it, and say that I thought this stylistic choice would provide the most accurate representation of how the month really felt . . . Events on top of events. Visits upon visits. Totally busy, but in the best ways. Packed, packed, packed with family, friends, and fun. Yes, let's just say that.
Anyhow, it really was a good month.

And life really is, as Mary Oliver penned, wild and precious.
So here's to hanging on to our metaphorical hats and enjoying the ride.
Just maaaaybe don't tip the boat. . .
unless you want to go swimming.
Or touch a turtle.
Or acquire a massive bacterial infection.
